Scholarships

Early in its life the With Love to the World Committee established a scholarship fund to assist young Australian scholars undertaking advanced study, mainly in the fields of Biblical Studies and Theology. Any surplus money remaining after meeting the costs of production and distribution, together with any donations, are placed in a scholarships capital fund, the interest from which is used to make scholarship grants. Over the past 20 years many grants have been awarded to members of the Uniting Church and its partner churches in Asia and the Pacific.

The rules of the Fund state that grants are to be made primarily to younger Australian scholars for study in theological disciplines for a postgraduate research degree at doctoral level (such as PhD or ThD).  You can download the Scholarship Application Guidelines here.
